Circadia

Sun said to the morning star

 early in the morning,

“I’m going to burn through where you are!”

underneath the sky.

and “As day is getting longer”

 early in the morning,

“I’ll be getting ever stronger”

 underneath the sky.

“See you hiding in the mist”

early in the morning,

“I got rays to cut through this!”

underneath the sky.

Chorus

Do you remember?

Yes I remember.

Do you remember that?

Yes I remember!

We all have been here before…

Life is pleasant for a while 'till

on about noon time,

we all grow to hate his smile

underneath the sky.

Grass is brown ’n leaves are drying

on about noon time.

Crick's so low the crawdad's frying

underneath the sky.

Every creature God has made

on about noon time is

seeking water, seeking shade

underneath the sky.

Chorus

Do you remember?

Yes I remember.

Do you remember that?

Yes I remember!

We all have been here before…

Interlude…

Everything is under dust

early in the evening.

Earth's a cracked and broken crust

underneath the sky.

Shadows are growing long

early in the evening,

there’s something no one knows is wrong

underneath the sky!

Nothing lives above the ground

early in the evening,

Mother Earth is burning down

underneath the sky

Chorus

Do you remember?

Yes I remember.

Do you remember that?

Yes I remember!

We all have been here before…

As I settle down to sleep,

night sky is falling,

nothing left but dirt and heat

underneath the sky!

Out of nowhere comes the rain,

night sky is falling,

steam is hissing out the flame,

underneath the sky!

Soak and cool and drink it down,

night sky is falling,

life is waiting under ground,

underneath the sky!

Chorus

Do you remember?

Yes I remember.

Oh, do you remember that?

Yes I remember!

We all have been here before…

We all have been here before!

We all have been here…..
